Measurement, Control and Laboratory Equipment
We have been supporting the Measurement, Control and Laboratory (MCL) Equipment's industry for many years designing and testing their specialist technology for EMC, Electrical Safety and a range of Radio devices.
Measurement, Control and Laboratory Equipment Compliance
Equipment for measurement, control and laboratory use encompasses a vast array of electrical and electronic products ranging from industrial control to those used in specialist laboratory environments. Recent developments in technology and the subsequent miniaturisation have led to the on-going expansion of technologies associated with this type of equipment.
Eurofins York (formerly York EMC Services) engineers have a great deal of experience in working with equipment of all sizes and our laboratories are specially equipped to be able to accommodate all types of measurement, control and laboratory equipment.
Please refer to our UKAS schedule for full details of specific standards we are accredited to and contact us for a full list of standards we can test to.
In agreement with UKAS, we operate a Flexible Schedule of Accreditation which makes it possible for us to add some standards directly to our UKAS schedule. If the standard you require testing to is not currently on our UKAS schedule, please contact us so that we can assess your requirements.
Our three UKAS accredited test laboratories No. 1574 offer accredited EMC testing for measurement, control and laboratory equipment to the product specific standards, EN 61326-1 and EN 61326-2-6 (IVD equipment) amongst others for compliance with the EMC Directive, 2014/30/EU.
Our accredited Electrical Safety testing for compliance with the Low Voltage Directive, 2014/35/EU, includes assessments to IEC/EN 61010-1, IEC/EN 61010-2-010, IEC/EN 610610-2-101 amongst others.
We also offer CB scheme testing for global market access including the Met Mark for access to North America and Canada.
We offer radio testing for equipment with embedded wireless technology; whether it be to check pre-tested modules incorporated into your product or full compliance testing.
