Chris Clegg, Group Services Manager

Chris Clegg has worked for us since 2001 and been the Group Services Manager (GSM) since 2012.

He is a Chartered Manager with a wide array of managerial experience in industry and the Armed Forces. With a strong organisational and leadership background, Chris is responsible for all support aspects of Eurofins York (formerly York EMC Services) business.

Background

Chris has a degree in French & Economics and an MBA awarded in 2011. He joined as the Business Systems Manager for York EMC Services as it started to expand in the early 2000s and has been responsible for ensuring our systems meet legal, operational and commercial requirements.

In 2006 he became the Consultancy Manager and CPD Manager before completing his Masters in Business Administration and moving to his current post in 2012. Chris now oversees the strategic direction of the Expert Services, Training and Test Instrumentation Departments within Eurofins York, additionally performing the role of Quality Manager for ISO 9001:2015 which covers all 3 of those areas. He manages all Human Resources and Health, Safety & Welfare activities across all sites.


As a Chartered Manager, Chris is a Member of the Chartered Management Institute.
