We hold a wide range of certifications and approvals for our global services and products providing the assurance that our intention is to provide technical support of the highest calibre.
ISO 17025: UKAS Accreditation (1574)
Eurofins York (formerly York EMC Services) is accredited to ISO 17025 by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) for many of the tests that it performs within its three laboratories.
As an international Standard, ISO 17025 specifies the requirements for a laboratory to carry out tests the standards for which it is accredited. It includes both the requirements to generate a quality system and to demonstrate that the laboratory has the facilities, equipment and competence to provide testing in accordance with the standards.
In agreement with UKAS we operate a Flexible Schedule of Accreditation which makes it possible for us to add some standards directly to our UKAS schedule. If the required standard is not on our UKAS schedule, please contact us so that we can assess your requirements.

ISO 9001 Certification
Eurofins York holds certification to the ISO 9001:2015 standard for Consultancy and Research, Training Courses and Test Instrumentation products.
Having ISO 9001 certification formally recognises our commitment to quality and ensures that Eurofins York will continually improve the effectiveness of its quality management system. In so doing we also ensure that our staff remain competent to perform their duties and that the infrastructure and working environments are appropriate.

Conformity Assessment Body (CAB)
Eurofins York is an EMC Conformity Assessment Body for Australia under the UK-Australia and UK-New Zeland Mutual Recognition Agreements. For more information click here.

CB Scheme CBTL Appointment
Eurofins York has been appointed as a Certified Body Test Laboratory (CBTL) as part of the IECEE CB Scheme.

Health and Safety Certifications
- Personal Track Safety (PTS); all of our engineers who work on-site in the rail environment hold PTS competency which allows them to work on Network Rail infrastructure.
- Industry Common Induction with London Underground (ICI-LU) endorsement; all of our on-site engineers hold the ICI-LU competency which provides them with a health and safety induction for working on construction sites, rail depots and station maintenance on Network Rail or LU infrastructure.
- Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS); all of our engineers who work on UK construction sites hold CSCS cards to prove that they have the training and qualification required for the type of work they carry out.
